FOOTBALL BANQUET

Will be on Wednesday November 7th at 5:30 at the Massena Community Center located on Beach Street.

I realize that many of the kids have other sports going on at this time and that 5:30 may not work for some families.  I will be running the banquet from 5:30 to 8:00pm in hopes that the few of you who have hockey or basketball can show up afterwords.  I am hoping to have everyone make an appearance at some point tomorrow evening. There will be pizza & beverages as well as a small reward for the kids.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING ALL ISSUED EQUIPMENT TO THIS BANQUET AS WELL AS THE RAFFLE TICKETS THAT WERE HANDED OUT DURING THE SEASON. WE WILL BE DRAWING THE WINNER THAT EVENING.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE BANQUET AND STILL HAVE ISSUED EQUIPMENT, YOU CAN DROP OFF EQUIPMENT AT 12 COLGATE DRIVE, MASSENA NY OR CALL LISA CHAPMAN @ 315-250-7877 OR MIKE AT 315-842-5477

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for a very successful 2012 football season.

To all the coaches (Flag, Minors, Majors) I appreciate your time and dedication. With your help Massena Youth Football is looking up and the numbers are starting to once again increase.

To anyone who helped with chains, marking the fields, referee, selling tickets or anything associtated with MYF, I thank you.

Parents....Thanks for giving us coaches the opportunity to teach your children the game of football and sportsmanship. I can only hope you and your children had an enjoyable season, and will return again next season.

Kids....You all have alot to be proud of.  The Minor and Major teams were able to have undefeated seasons, but more importantly you had fun throughout the season, learned alot  about football, made new friends and will have many memories of this season.  It was a special season and I am already looking forward to next year.

For you 6th graders going into 7th grade and will be playing modified football next season.  Continue to work hard, have fun, listen and give 100%.  I wish you the best of luck.  I look forward to seeing you all playing on the turf in a few years as members of the Red Raider Junior Varsity and Varsity teams.
